Laax is a small village in Surselva/Graubünden. In every season of the year, there is so much to do and experience here, or quietly relax in the beautiful scenery.
Laax in the winter
Directly at the lake Laax is an ice rink, the T-bar lift for children and the igloo with foods and drinks.
Lake Cauma and lake Cresta
Walking or cycling for a swim to these two lakes with their unusually coloured natural water, is a memorable excursion.
Aside from the local mountain animals like chamois and ibexes there are also marmots. With patience and luck you could see a marmot yourself.
The lake Laax is just below my B&B. In winter you can skate on the lake. In summer you can swim, splash around or even go kayaking.
The flora of the alps will always accompany you through the Surselva – and fascinate you every time.
A wild gorge filled with a thundering river, white cliffs and encircled from pine forests. Seeing andor being in the Rhine Gorge is an unforgettable experience.
In the snow guarantied „Weisse Arena“, there are 235 km pistes, four snowparks, the largest half pipe in the world, a freestyle indoor hall and much more.
Tschingelhörner – Martinsloch
This area has been declared a part of the UNESCO World Heritage. Whoever goes to the Tschingelhörner with the Martinsloch will never get tired of looking at this natural wonder.
